Drawing on more than ten years in the entertainment industry, Sophie has developed her expertise serving as legal counsel for major Canadian and international studios, particularly in the animation, visual effects, video game and advertising production sectors.
She has negotiated and drafted a broad range of commercial agreements with major enterprises, including service agreements, software licenses and above-the-line production contracts with creative talent (writers, actors, producers, composers). Her experience further includes strategic counsel on diverse matters including intellectual property, insurance, tax credits and the use of artificial intelligence.
